Lucknar and his Followers
As Emperor of Hurssia, Lucknar has some staff/relatives/followers who look to him, and not to any other country or group.
Emperor Lucknar
Lucknar is a golden dragon who ruled over Hurssia thousands of years ago. Around 2000 years ago, Lucknar was imprisoned in a gem - The Memory of the Mountains. Silanus the mage found the gem in 1154 and used it. At the tournament, Bishop Jalrun, the High Priest in Vern, noticed there was a dragon in it, and so the party took it to the then High Priest of Lugnae, who released Lucknar (Apparently, his first words were '"What are you?"'). Lucknar met up with Krentish, and on their war through Kursaval to the Grusk mountains, both dragons were again imprisoned by Aragorn. In 1160, The Unnameable One led a party of brave adventurers to the place of Imprisonment, where they battled with the guardian placed by Aragorn. Lord Mage Quintith released the dragons. Lucknar and Krentish joined the fight against Aragorn, and in 1161, the leaders of the various nations swore fealty to Lucknar as Emperor .
Princess Jekky
The adopted sister of Queen Tullia of Kursaval. She is a copper dragon. Princess Jekky owns the Duchy of Vern.
Krentish
A silver dragon, and a long time friend of Lucknar's. He was imprisoned and released with Lucknar, 1155 to 1160, and fought in the battle against Aragorn. He now resides in Vern, Kursaval, with the Emperor .
Sir Loark
Sir Loark used to work for the Green Lady. Towards the end of her reign, he was cursed. He turned into a a green dragon at night, and had no self-control. Sir Loark decided to join the fight against Aragorn in order to get the curse removed. Lucknar removed the curse, and Sir Loark is now loyal to him, and knight Commander of the Emperor's Guard.

The Kursavalians
Duke Arnlor of Uridge
Duke Arnlor is Queen Tullia's cousin, and a former squire to a Palladic knight of Issiad. Arnlor fought alongside Pherenath in the siege of Lanmere, and at his death took the Holy Avenger to the Larowmor Forest. He was given shelter there by King Ortar during the reigns of the Green Lady and Aragorn.

Aspen
A staunch fighter and member of the party, it was thanks to Aspen that the original party members were rescued. Aspen suffered slightly in the knowing what sex he was - at his death he was a female, polymorphed into a male, though he was born male, so even his closest companions were never quite sure.
Lady Brangwen Bladesworn, Knight Commander, Queen's Champion
A strong fighter, Bran was disguised as a boy and on the run from her affianced and her future as a lady, when she joined Sir Corwin's adventuring party. Sold out by Whiteflight just before the siege of Lanmere, she managed to talk her way out of the wedding. After release in 1160, Brangwen joined the rebel forces of Queen Tulia, where she was knighted. She was made Knight Commander and Queen's Champion in 1161. Brangwen has purchased two griffon eggs from Janil. As of 1166, the knights of Kursaval number nineteen. Bran really doesn't get along with Duke Randall.
Count Felquin, the Lord Magistrate
Felquin was formerly one of the late King Aleksandr's knights, before being appointed to Magistrate at the end of the war. The Lord Magistrate is in charge of Justice in Kursaval.
Florimel
See Florimel
Count Isandr of Lanmere, Master of the Knights of Issiad
Isandr is a paladin of Issiad. His predecesor, Countt Pherenoth, died in 1156, and Isandr was appointed in his place.
Princess Jekky
Go to Princess Jekky
Count Kael of Barrander
Kael is a half-elf ranger of Issiad. Kael was "found" by a woodsman as a baby in the forests somewhere south of Kursaval. At an early age (approximately 12) his guardian died and he travelled the woods on his own, keeping away from civilisation. He eventually met-up with Corwin, and travelled with him for a couple of years before meeting the rest of the party. Kael came to the attention of the nobility at the tournament at Vern, where he was chosen to fight as Duchess Jekya's champion. Kael has performed many services for Kursaval, and was knighted by King Alexandr XIV. He was named by Count Svalrik of Barrander as his heir. Count Svalrik died in the siege of Lanmere, and Kael was challenged by Rossenfur to his right to Barrander. Ever unassuming, Kael was prepared to give up the claim. When he died in the temple of Baephius, he was resurrected by Aeson and sent to Blakmar where he was trapped for five years. On his release, Kael joined Queen Tullia in the Gruskan mountains and fought against Aragorn's forces in 1161. Kael was then awarded the Countship of Barrander. He loathes elves as they obviously abandoned him, takes pity on humans as they always run around in circles, and likes dwarves for their sense of purpose and he always knows where he stands with them. All he wants is a quiet life and one day soon he may disappear back into the woods to focus on the balance of nature.
Count Klerryed, the Field Marshall
Klerryed is the half-elf son of the late Duchess Neumya of Uridge. He was appointed Field Marshall in 1161. The Field Marshall commands the Queen's forces.
Kurngrim
A beserker. With PMT. Kurngrim never actually killed any party members, but this was mainly due to the rest of the world holding her back. With an intelligence of 7, a personal vendetta against Aragorn, and the ability to turn into a bear, Kurngrim was a powerful force for good. She's now quit the army, and gone home to Shaytan to be a farmer. She was offered both Countess and Army General, but was honest enough to know the thinking part would just be too hard. Kurngrim owns a Mace of Disruption.
ArchDuke Myelorn, the Lord Chamberlain
ArchDuke Myelorn trained as apprentice to Arch Duke Hesparion, who held this post in the years before the war. He is a diviner of no little talent, and as Chamberlain co-ordinates Kursaval's internal affairs.
Nyn'Thrin, Master of Scrolls
A clerk, under ArchDuke Myelorn
Count Peterick, the Lord Chancellor
Count Peterick is the eldest son of the former High priest of Issiad, ArchBishop Vesparion. Peterick was raised to his position in 1161, and oversees Kursaval's finances.
Quintith, Lord Wizard
Quintith is a werebear mage, possibly the greatest spellcaster in Hurssia, excluding the dragons. Quintith has been Lord Wizard as long as anyone can remember. He has responsibility for Kursaval's magic policy. He keeps himself to himself, and generally does as he sees best, turning up when he wants to. No-one knows where he goes when he isn't around. The Dwarves of the Gruskan mountains have a means of getting in contact with him, provided by Quintith, as presumably, does Queen Tullia. Quintith is able to cast Wish and has been known to do so.
Taekmar (died 1160)
After introducing herself to the party with the immortal words 'I'm a thief' she never did have much chance. Taek travelled to Blakmar where her head was cut off because she told the truth under questioning about The Magic Omelette experience. Her head was thrown into Randall and Iggy's cell, where their long slide of depravity began.
Duke Torman of Rew
Torman gained control of Rew at an early age. During a hunting trip in the Kavil Forest 1155, Torman was kidnapped by a Tursen baron, and rescued by Sir Kael and Sir Corwin's adventuring party. From 1156 to 1160, Torman masterminded the rebellion from within Kursaval's borders, which brought down the palace in Nyr'Danr at a crucial moment.
Queen Tullia
Tullia is a human bard. After her father, King Aleksandr XIV, and her older brother were killed by the Green Lady in 1157, Tullia escaped to the dwarven halls of Thalagor. There, with the aid of King Galar, King Thekk and King Ortar, Tullia led the rebellion aaginst Aragorn. Tullia was crowned Queen in 1161, and has sworn fealty to the Emperor Lucknar. Tullia rules Kursaval - under her are the nobles, and her six advisers. These are the Field Marshall General, the Lord Magistrate, the Lord Chancellor, the Lord Chamberlain, the Lord Wizard and the Knight Commander.

Knights
The majority of these knights were encountered in the Tournament at Rew and have never been seen by the PCs since. However, others of them have had more of an impact, and it’s always useful to know who they are.

Prior Ruskin DEAD? [thief/mage/priest/janus/spy/enemy]
Alias: Aedile Ebrun, assistant to Consul Warbrene. In the service of Aragorn. A spy within the group he revealed information about the party, the dragons and the Duke to his contact Ismursis. However, due to confusion in the party he believed, as we did, that The Resistance was run by Duke Torman. This fact might be the saving grace for our most grievous error in trusting him. He ambushed Bishop Cryssania whilst they were on their own - that being his ultimate goal. Though he was prevented from killing her by Skarra and Igelkordok. A worshipper of Mallus possibly even a priest. He apparently committed suicide by throwing himself at Bishop Cryssania whilst she prayed. His body was then engulfed in acid by the dragon Klidmar at the party's request.
Too good at most things. Previously "worked as a scribe for Arch Duke Hisparian, the King's Diviner in Nyr D'Nar". Appeared after having received a dream-quest from Tarak to follow Bishop Cryssania. Encountered him first in `The Traitor's Throat` in Tommar and he has accompanied the party since. Demon child killed by Sir Corwin. Was swapped to replace a normal child, the son of Sheriff Astiv of Tiryev at birth by the witch Tibian Kelvort.

The Tursens
West Turse
Prince Corwin Jr. (1160-)
Prince Corwin is 'mostly human' - he has the head and hind legs of a goat. This is due to having been conceived by two male humans who were polymorphed into goats - namely his late father, Igelkordoch and his "mother", Duke Randall. Unfortunately, his father died before his birth in 1160. Prince Corwin is now heir to the throne of West Turse, and is being brought up by his grandfather, King Getyphin.
King Getyphin
Getyphin is at least 200 years old and is a powerful mage. He was a baron of Turse before the Green Lady arrived on the scene. During the Green Lady's reign, Getyphin assumed a number of aliases - amongst these were Orthandolas, leader of the resistance, and Sheriff Tavian, Lady Gern's right hand man. In 1161, Getyphin claimed Turse as his own, and is now the ruler of West Turse. He is father to Igelkordoch Aischros, and Grandfather to Prince Corwin Jr.
Igelkordoch Aischros (died 1160)
Iggy was a human fighter-mage. He grew up in Turse as the son of Orthandolas, Leader of the Tursen Resistance. He left Turse to go adventuring, and during his adventures met Randall, was polymorped into a goat, and sired Prince Corwin Jr. It doesn't matter what else he achieved in life, this is the deed he will be remembered for. Igelkordoch died in 1160 in a brave attempt to rescue Sir Corwin and Randall as they were held prisoner under Aragorn's guards, not realising they were perfectly capable of freeing themselves.
Duke Randall
A male, human bard with a mighty fireball but an even mightier yellow streak. He once dated the Duchess Silana (before her identity was revealed) but abandoned her, only to give birth himself to King Getyphin's grandson by becoming pregnant to the lady's brother. Magic, instinct and depravity led to him becoming pregnant in goat-form and, later while human, giving birth to the heir to the throne of West Turse. As well as the unfortunate 'goat' incident, Randall is also noteworthy for having to be the only bard in history to learn the sword, as he is liable to fall unconscious within minutes after having re-memorised his spells. We should also mention the time Randall defended Silana's honour (wrongly!) and fought a duel with Sir Ketterin, only narrowly losing. Though he still lost.
Duchess Silana
Silana is the daughter of King Getyphin, and sister of the late Igelkordoch. She's also the ex-lover of Randall - he ran out on her, once upon a time, and there are still hard feelings. Silana is a much better warrior than Randall, and was aided by the party when imprisoned by Aragorn in 1160.

East Turse
King Ketterin
Ketterin ruled Turse under the Green Lady. She cursed him, as she did Loark and Lady Gern. Ketterin was released from his curse by Lucknar, at the request of the rebels. He agreed to help fight with the forces combined against Aragorn, and was promised half of Turse by Kursaval. Ketterin now rules East Turse.
Duke Orplas
Duke Orplas was sent by Ketterin to represent East Turse at the Birthrite Ceremony. He is King Ketterin's second in command, and a good fighter.

Orthandolus Aischros [fighter/ally/resistance]
Father to Igelkordok and Sallanna by different mothers. Leader of the resistance within Turse against the Green Lady and has continued after her death to oppose all other attempts at control within the region. Posing as Renlith the barman at the Traitor's Throat, in order to keep track of current affairs. He gave Igelkordok spells and has access to a large resource of material.

Renlith
See Orthandolus. Claims to come from outside of Tommar and reopened the old Marshman's Bell as the Traitor's Throat.
Tallaran, the Butcher [hobgoblin/fighter]
Hobgoblin mercenary and part of the Slayer's Brotherhood. Was hired by Orthandolus to guard an area around Tommar but beaten by the party. Recruited to work for them in the siege of the Consul's Palace. THAC0: 9 Hit Points: 84. 2 attacks per round. magical BATTLEAXE spd. 3 Dmg. 1d8 +8.

Lieutenant Orplis [fighter]
Second in command to Sir Ketterin. Encountered him at the Dragons' Watch Monastery.

Phaxen [fighter/janus/ally]
Huge man, fighter and member of Ruben's band.

The Ukrallish
Count Arev of Bramblewood (died 821)
Count Arev was a ranger. He owned Castle Bramblewood, which is now a ruin. In the bottom of the ruin is a thieves' training ground. The Unnameable One stored a letter there. The ruin was managed by Nathon, who works for The Unnameable One.
Blackboar
Blackboar worked with Nathon for The Unnameable One.
Eldrid (died 17th Midsummer, 1166)
Eldrid was an elf who worked for Sefaran. He died by his own poisoned sword, after fumbling in a fight with Vortigan. His body was delivered to the town guard of Wearmill, and a reward collected, as he was wanted for murder at the time of his death. He'd tried to avoid capture by disguising himself as a dark elf!
King Ervlich
King Ervlich rules the Ukral by being the only noble to survive Aragorn's regime. At the end of the war, Ervlich was discovered locked in his own dungeon, though no one has asked too many questions.
Count Lainsig of Firguard
Count Lainsig was sent to the Dwarven Birthrite ceremony on behalf of King Ervlich.
Sir Masovitch
Knight of Torinfal, and father in law to Seferan. Sir Masovitch unaccountably killed a hermit, and a hut full of brownies. The fairies have him now, and he is being 're-educated' in the Sylvan Forest. It is unexpected to ever see him again.
Nathon (died 1159)
Nathon manages Castle Bramblewood in the Ukrall. It was last owned by Count Arev. In the ruins of Castle Bramblewood is a thieves'' training ground, where The Unnameable One stored a letter he'd received. Nathon worked for The Unnameable One. He died fighting undead in 1159.
Orlensia
Orlensia is Seferan's daughter, and married to the knight of Torinfal, Sir Masovitch. She's been 20-ish for at least 20 years, and is not a very nice person. At the moment, Reaper's harvest 1166, she's misssing. She last saw the 'firestick'.

The Dwarven Kingdoms

Dwarves
The dwarves are split into two Kingdoms: these are the Clans of Stonebeard, and the Clans of Kallergan. All other clans and halls look to either of these, except the sundered dwarves.

Clan Stonebeard
Regent Vindalf
Vindalf ruled the Halls of Thalagor as Duke until the death of his brother in law, King Galar in 1166. During his time as Duke, he provided hospitality to the surviving members of the royal family of Kursaval. Near fatally injured in that battle, he survived to become regent of Clan Stonebeard untill Prince Thorluck is old enough to rule.
Prince Thorluk
Born 1157, Thorluk is heir apparent of Clan Stonebeard, son of the late King Galar and the Queen mother.
King Galar (died 1166)
King Galar ruled Clan Stonebeard from 1100 till 1166 when he was killed in a goblin battle. He aided Queen Tullia in her attempt to rid Hurssia of Aragorn.

Clans of Kallergan
King Thekk
King Thekk has ruled from 1100 to the present time. He aided Kursaval in their war against Aragorn.

Sundered Dwarves
Thorin
See Thorin

The Goblinoid Races
King Laranthug (Whiteflight the Gay Blade)
The most famous member of the party, unfortunately for mostly the wrong reasons. A Goblin/human/dwarf/werebear bard with a taste for danger and a penchant for killing party members. Whiteflight most recently turned up as Laranthug, though we all thought him dead. As Laranthug, he is king of the goblinoid races, taking over from Nardik.
King Nardik (died 1166)
Ex Goblin King. Dead.
Talloran
Talloran is a hobgoblin mercenary, who was hired by Getyphin to scare Sir Corwin's adventuring party away from the tomb of Baron Getyphin whilst they were in Turse. The party promptly hired him and his scouts to aid in the coming fight against Aragorn (1160). Talloran was employed by Earl Skarrin after the war.

The White Forest
Within the White Forest live the Barbarians. Traditionally, they are friendly with only the dwarves.
Vlen Vlice
Vlen Vlice was the ambassador sent by the barbarians to the dwarven Birthrite Ceremony. There he duelled and killed Sir Corwin, returning his magic items as he 'had no need of them'. A very hard man.

The Elven Kingdoms, and characters from the Shire
The Elves
The elves in Hurssia live in either the Shirewood, or the Larromor Forest. The two kingdoms are not friendly.
The Larrowmoor Forest
King Ortar
King Ortar rules the elves with a fair and even hand. He aided Kursaval in the fight against Aragorn. He has tried to regain the Shirewood since the split. We do not know if he has sent a messenger to Skarrin since his reign.
The Shirewood
Earl Skarrin
Skarrin, a half elf, is the son of Skarra, and of a human woman, long dead. Hated by his father since birth, Skarrin has never been able to get over this, culminating in resurrecting Skarra against his express wishes, in 1166. Skarrin has risen to power within the Shirewood quickly, becoming ruler in 1161.
Earl Rallian (died 1156)
Earl Rallian ruled the Shirewood Forest from 1133. Although approched by King Ortar, he refused to relinquish the Shirewood, considering it a part of Kursaval.
Radigund
Radigund managed to survive the entire time she was adventuring without getting hurt. Some would call this cowardice, others intelligence. By far the richest of the party, Radigund kept her belongings very close, especially one specific ruby, whose whereabouts everyone was afraid to ask... Radigund was told by a seer that her life was directed by a steel serpent.
Lady Tirea
In 1161, Lady Tirea requested shelter from Earl Skarrin, as she was on the run from King Ortar, and also Aragorn. Lady Tirea was also the object of Skarra's affections, which she wasn't too happy about. Lady Tirea is the only surviving member of the Grey Claw, a band of female thief/mage elves. The Grey Claw were responsible for stealing the bone ring from Sir Corwin and giving it to a necromancer on the Gonwrath Moors.

The Shire

In the Shire live the hobbits, who are ruled by a series of sherrifs.
Bhumibol Carline
Ambassador for the Sheriffs of the Shires, Bhumibol is Chief diplomat, democrat and pursuer of truth, justice, and ham sandwiches. Sent to Lanmere (or wherever) to promote the unification of Hurssia and the ideal of the hobbit people, that is, disposing of an archaic system of monarchic repression and establishing a fairer state of peaceful and duly elected people's representatives (whom, for arguments sake we could call Sheriffs...). Bhumibol also has a great hatred of magic, from Aragorn's treatment of his family. This attitude may be reflected in many commoners - especially towards necromancy.
Milo (died 1155)
An adventuring hobbit, and friend of Count Kael and Sir Corwin.

Priests
Within this section are people who do not have traditional ties to countries, but to their god.
Priesthoods

Allaveer
Sir Corwin "Demonslayer", Knight Commander of Allaveer
Player Character: A swordsman and warrior with few equals, defeated many demons in single combat. He even took on the mighty greater demon Ka'esh in his own realm and almost beat him but for an accident with a trapdoor which denied him victory.
Promoted to Knight Commander of Allaveer and master of Duke Randall who was his squire. The number of times he has saved the party is legendary. Since losing a duel with Vlen Vlice, Corwin has been resurrected by Silanus as an elf, which casts doubt on his position as Knight Commander.
Treasure hog. Somehow every magic item seems to fit him best or to compensate for his weaknesses more than anyone else's. As such he glows like a Christmas tree whenever Detect Magic is cast.
Darien
Mage/thief worked as a translator to Sir Corwin for the dwarven Birthrite ceremony in 1166. He knows many languages, and is a great boon to any party.
Initiate Skarra
An elven mage, Skarra gradually learnt to get over his hatred of humans, even on occasion healing fellow party members. Skarra was resurrected against his express wishes by his half-elf son, Skarrin, whom he had rejected since birth. Skarra is originally an inhabitant of Aloth Atoll, where he resides when not visiting Hurssia for deep and complex reasons of his own.
Frossim
Neshtil HumanEater (died 1166)
A goblin priest of Griss, who resurrected Laranthug/Whiteflight, and so obviously deserved to die. Brangwen did the honours, though Cryssania got the killing blow.

Griss
Nero (died 1160)
Nero was a priest of Griss, the god of chance. Good at gambling, and all other such priestly activities he dumped Kurngrim cruelly by leaving in the middle of the night. Nero died in 1160, in the great battle.
Elrood
Elrood is a gnomish priest of Griss/illusionist. He is currently travelling the world - at the moment he is with his friend Serebok, studying under Sefaran the Weaver. Elrood is cursed - his blood has turned black, and it looks like he is covered in spider webs. This is an unfortunate side effect of getting drunk on some magical potions - though it did save his life. If Elrood converts 100 people to Griss, Griss will remove the curse. Elrood is also being threatened with regards to a firestick (a firearm taken from Chronomancers) he found. He must destroy the firestick or his family will be killed.

Insignious
Beleana (died 1154)
Beleana was a pyromaniac. She met her timely demise at the hands of the Green lady's Green Dragons, on the Isle of Kilios.

Issiad
Loketus (died 1154)
Loketus was a priest of Issiad, who was killed by a fire demon in Ravenloft.
Lugnae
Brother Indran (died 1154)
An adventuring monk, who accompanied Sir Corwin and Count Kael. He was killed by Barbarians in the Barbarian War.

Tarrak
Zelda (died 1154)
Priest of Tarrak, died in the Goblin caves. This was probably due to a bad combination of Sillanus, Skarra, Whitefight, and Zelda herself.
ArchBishop Cryssania
Unfortunately Cryssania was resurrected as a (male) gnome during the fight against Aragorn, preventing her from ever reaching the heady heights of ArchBishop. A powerful spell caster, Cryssania escaped death on not very many occasions, becoming the second most resurrected character of the campaign. After sucessfully completing her quest and freeing Jen, Tarrak rewarded her by transforming her back into a female human. Cryssiana is now ArchBishop, and Guildmaster of the Abbey of Tarrak.

Mages of Hurssia
Although I have listed all the spell casters (both mages and specialists) here, some, such as Quintith are tied to a country, and so you will find their description there. Others also follow a god, and in this case, they may be listed under their priesthood.
Guild Master Cryssania
See ArchBishop Cryssania.
Delator (undead 1166)
Delator, too realised too late her mistake. First she was nicknamed 'dandelion', then shot by a fairy arrow and lost her memory. Next Elrood tried to persuade her they were married (in real life, Del was married to a (dead) hobbit. We didn't know this, and so now, neither does she). Then we got caught in the puzzle box, where she was turned into a frog by a trapped box. After a few days she lost what little sense of self she had. Elrood turned her back by kissing her - though for a while she still thought she was a frog. And just as she realised she was a human, Sebrian bit her, turned her into a vampire, and she was sucked to Ravenloft.
Drake (undead 1166)
Never has a character background caused such difficulty. And Indran has really tried before.
Drake's a bit of an odd fish. He's got a queer accent - kind of Tursen - and know nothing about the major events of the past twenty years. He's a transmuter. We've since discovered he was sent out of time by a Chronomancer, 200 years ago. After studying with Seferan for a short while, he too was captured, and is now a vampire in Ravenloft, we assume. The Tower in Torinfel was burnt down by Chronomancers wishing to find Drake.
Edward (undead 1166)
Edward was a human illusionist, studying with Sefaran in his home town of Torinfal. Edward was imprisoned in the puzzlebox trap - there he was turned into a vampire by Sebrian, and transported to Ravenloft.
Elrood
See Elrood
Florimel
With a penchant for making things go boom, Florimel was an asset to the party. Except for the time he read the mind of a demon of Mallus and went cuckoo, of course. Managed to die with a level of stupidity rarely reached even by Kurngrim - after sneaking into the palace for the final attack, making careful note to get past the anti-magic barrier, on the way out, Florimel tried to fly invisibly. On this occasion, he went boom, and was then trampled on by hordes of panicking soldiers, leaving an invisible pile of dust. Ooops.
Gandor
An elven fighter mage who turned up to study with Seferan, again realising too late his problem. He's, miraculously, still alive...
Jessica
19, red head, fighter, and Sebrian's wife. She also escaped from Raveloft through a portal, and is now trying to find him.
Kyar
A young genius, Kyar is a shy girl who lives under the shadow of a prophecy made before she was born - that she would be a great mage.
Micah
Mich turned up with Delator, having been directed to Sebrian by Lorensa. He realised too late his mistake, and is now stuck with the other apprentices.
Guild Master Mestranis Quillstrong
Guild Master Mestranis is a steel dragon, and is master of the School of Wizardry. He was responsible for saving most of the guild's books and historical papers. The School of Wizardy is based in Nyr'Danr, Kursaval.
Morgan
Morgan was Lord Mage for one of the Barons of Turse before the Green Lady's reign. Known to be a powerful mage (though not in the league of Getyphin or Quintith), Morgan has been travelling under a number of disguises. Rumours vary from Morgan having destroyed all his spell books, to having been turned to stone and used as a village ornament, to lying low for a few hundred years before "doing an Aragorn". There is a price on his head at the moment, as he wrote the Destroy scroll used by Prince Hafdark of the dwarves of clan Stonebeard. Traditionally, Morgan and Quintith 'do not get along'.
Assistant Guild Master Ptira
Ptira is a steel dragon. She was assistant guild master of the Guild of Sages and Astronomers until 1160. From 1160 'till 1166, Ptira was Acting Guildmaster of the Guild of Wizardry, as there was no high priest of Tarak. Ptira is an academic. She discovered Aragorn's whereabouts in 1165, and will be at the release of Lodus, in 1193.
Lord Wizard Quintith
See Quintith
Guild Master Silanus
Silanus has this to say:
"I was recently asked by a dear friend to lay out some of the facts of my life so that she could record them for posterity. And indeed, what with some of the tragedies and evils that have befallen our fair world in these last several years, it seems wise to make such plans, for our time is short, even for us elves, and our lives but sparks among the darkness, as easily snuffed as a candle.
I am Silanus Shadonai, elven mage and formerly of Earl Ralian's court. I have travelled much of Hurssia and have striven in the high struggles of our age, but my roots are humble, my parents servants in the palace of the elven court. It is there that I watched the nobles and their intrigues, and so came to some understanding of the intricacies of human nature, and the mask of order and etiquette that we place upon them.
I was fortunate later in life to adventure with an eclectic bunch of individuals, all heroes in their own way though some strove not to be. Skarra, a fellow elf and a follower of nature's way, I particularly miss and to see him again someday would be wonderful.
There is more yet to write of my life, but I shall end this now and take up my pen some other time. You who eventually read this, know that though all seems dark at times, there shall always be a light, even if it is only you."
Silanus is master of the Grey School in Y'goth, and is busy rebuilding the School. He has a demonic familiar of Insignious who takes the shape of an owl. He's currently concerned about the renegade group of wizards he has heard about.
Guild Master Smake
Smake is a gnome illusionist. He hid his School of Wizardry using illusion in order to protect it from the armies of Aragorn and The Green Lady. It remains hidden but is still operating somewhere in the South East of Hurssia. Through his actions the School was the only one preserved.
The Unnameable One
Nobody knows who the Unnameable One is, nor even his race. In recent years he has sent three letters to Sir Corwin's party of adventurers. These were:
delivered 20th Reapers Harvest 1160
found at Castle Bramblewood
delivered 25th Deadleaf 1160
Current opinion is that the Unnameable One is a mage and heads an 'alternative' wizards' guild.
Relowl (dead)
Relowl was a 1/2 elf, and Kyar's older brother. He had training as a fighter, a rogue and a mage. He knew nothing of grenades when he threw himself on top of one to protect his sister and the party. Time-travelling elves defeated him with their shoddy technology.
Sebrian (undead 1166)
A drunkard old, mage. Very old. Very drunk. And more than slightly dodgy. Like, connections to Ravenloft dodgy. After committing numerous evil acts, Sebrian made a deal with Mallus in the prison box, and became a vampire. He then decimated most of the party. Apparently married to Jessica.
Sefaran the Weaver
Sefaran lives in Torinfal, in the Ukrall. He is a mage, who is currently training a number of apprentices. Sefaran's apprentices all, for one reason and another, wish to set up a new School of Wizardry. Seferan adopted 'The Weaver' as a ruse to prevent persecution by Aragorn. Sefaran is on good terms with Ervlich, and is now open about being a mage. He has been missing since Reaper's Harvest 1166, when the Vern Rangers, and The Fellowship of the Dead King turned up - on not very friendly premises.
Serebok
Serebok is also not originaly Ukrallish - he comes from the Ardinian empire where he was a wise man. After his initial escape from slavery, Serebok was recaptured. He was bought out of slavery by Sebrian, with Drake's money. After studying with Seferan for a short while, Serebok too was imprisoned in the puzzle box trap. With Elrood he accidentally escaped. Serebok is cursed and transmits diseases by touch.
Te'ryus
A runecaster from up north, Te'ryus saved Kyar's life when she was young, and is a good friend of her and Raloul.
Tiriel
Tiriel is a human illusionist, niece of the infamous Florimel. She was sent to the Dwarven Birthrite ceremony to represent the School of Illusionists. A quiet person, Tiriel amazingly travelled the Gruskan Mountains alone, unharmed.
Thorin (undead 1166)
Originally from Lanmir, in Kursaval, Thorin is the first dwarven mage. He studied with Sefaran the Weaver, as no other Guild would teach him. Thorin was imprisoned in the puzzlebox trap - there he was turned into a vampire by Sebrian, and transported to Ravenloft.
Mage X
Purportedly a powerful magic caster in North Hurrsia. Little is known about them. We're guessing barbarian/dwarf high level runecaster.

Aragorn and his Followers
Though many, I have only included those noteworthy, or alive.
Aragorn the White
Born in 502, Aragorn studied for two or three years at the School of Wizardry in Ny'rDanr. He then left to study at the Grey School in Ugoth. Whilst there he fell in love with a lady named Axlia. According to Aragorn, Axlia was persecuted and killed by the School of Wizardry, which Aragorn deemed a good enough reason to take over the world with undead armies.
At the end of the seventh century, Aragorn deposed King Hervan of Hervaxiath, and took over. In 952, with the Green Lady, Lord Wizard Metahorn, and Gettarisk the Green, Aragorn imprisoned Lodus. He shared the information with only Warbreen and Silus.
In 1157 Aragorn backtracked on his deal with the Green Lady to capture Hurrsia (at least the human and hobbit parts). He destroyed the three schools of wizardry he was able to find.
Aragorn lost control of Hurssia in 1161. He retired to the Ardinian Empire, leaving Prator Julius in his body to run Hervaxiath (meanwhile Prator Julius' dead body was inhabited by Friar Isgarsus).
In the Ardinian Empire, Aragorn removed his immortality, fell in love, married and had a child. He was found in 1165, and there promised that on his death in 28 years time, he would leave a scroll to Lucknar, detailing the whereabouts of Lodus.
Rossenfur (died 1159)
Rossenfur was the son of Count Verlash of Barrander, and younger brother of Count Svalrik of Barrander. At nine, Rossenfur left home to join the army in Nyr'Danr. He became a sergeant at 15, and at 16 joined Countess Kira's special unit.
In 1150, Rossenfur volunteered to capture a notorious bandit in the Kavil Forest. In reality, he spent the next five years in Hervaxiath, training as a mage under Aragorn. He returned in 1155 to oppose Sir Kael's claim to the Countship of Barrander. At this time, Count Pherenath confided to Kael he was dubious of Rossenfur's character. However, Rossenfur won the Countship.
In 1157, after the Green Lady's victory, Rossenfur declared Barrander independant. He aided Aragorn. and became the Legate of the 9th legion in 1159. He died later that year.
Primus Pilus, 13th Legion
The 13th Legion were undead, though their Primus Pilus wasn't. After the war of 1161, the Primus Pilus' armour didn't turn up in the spoils. It is assumed he is still alive.

The Green Lady
The Green Lady (died 1157)
The Green Lady was originally a human. She was assistant guild master of the Guild of Wizardry in Nyr'Danr. In 878, she attempted a hostile take-over bid, which failed. She was banished by Duke Mergash. In 893, she transformed into a green dragon. She wanted to become a goddess, and her taking over of Turse in 927-947 was part of this plan. The Green Lady hired Aragorn to trap Lodus, paying him with 1000 Tursen slaves.
In 1142, the Green Lady instigated the Barbarian wars, between Kursaval and the barbarians. In return for her help in stopping the war, the Green Lady forced King Aleksandyr XVI to accept the advice of her Inquisitors. She then moved into Kursaval in 1156. However, when her forces were weakened after destroying Kursaval and Ukrall, Aragorn then conquered the Green Lady, personally destroying her bodyguard. This was The Order of the Dragon - 20 to 30 green dragons, which it is rumoured were 'created'.
Getterisk the Green (presumed dead)
Known as 'The Traitor' Getterisk the Green was a green dragon. He lured Lodus to the place where Aragorn and the Green Lady were waiting to imprison him. He is believed to be dead.
Sir Borley of Merenbrook(died 1157)
Borley was a baron under the Green Lady. He had a dragon, Dark Claw, and a twin brother, Sir Kayguard, whose death nearly started a war. It is assumed Borley died when Aragorn took over.
Lady Gern (died 1160)
Lady Gern ruled under the Green Lady. Her second in command, Sherriff Tavian, was King Getyphin, leader of the resistance. Lady Gern was cursed by the Green lady to turn into a green dragon at night, and have no control over her behaviour. After Aragorn took over, Lady Gern moved out into the marshes. She was killed by unknown assassins (hired by King Getyphin, though this is not public knowledge) in 1160, who had white flights in their arrows.

Actually a dragon, though his favoured form is that of an outlandish dwarf. Went missing 1155. Presumably captured by either the Green Lady or Aragorn, hopefully still alive.
Kalos, the White Dwarf
The choice of disguise for the hunted Whiteflight after his death at the Temple of Mallus and reincarnation as a dwarf. This form didn’t last too long as Whiteflight chose to abandon it after winning a bet with Griss in favour of becoming a were-bear. He found the magical resistance of Dwarves too dangerous when spell casting.
Rudthan
The party’s guide to the Halls of Clan Olruk, the Clan from which he came. Sadly Rudthan died at the hands of Brynwurten defending his Clan home. He left home two years before but most of his Clan were butchered after his departure.
Utluk
Barman at the `Hammer and Anvil` in Lanmere. He healed the party in exchange for us clearing out the Halls of Clan Otluk, which had been taken over by undead and a necromancer.
Count Gorthan
Son of Count Olruk and heir to the Halls of Clan Otluk. Was very grateful to the party for our work, and gave us a bar of silver (worth 8,000 silver arun). He’d left the Halls on a trading mission when they were devastated.

Igelkordok advised him that Aragorn had trapped both Lodus and Lucknau inciting the dragon to go off in search of Aragorn and to kill him instead. Aragorn had only just left after having ordered him to execute the entire party.
Deep Blue eyes. As a black dragon, and a great wyrm, he is capable of breathing acid.

Klidmar [dragon/ally]
A young black dragon rescued from captivity by Igelkordok. A vegetarian, he was shunned by his parents - Tiergan and Waybit and locked in a room inside the Tomb of the Great Ferrus. After slaying Waybit and transporting Tiergan to another dimension, plus butchering his younger siblings, Igelkordok released him and agreed to show him Nyr D'nar. Later realising the stupidity of this plan Igelkordok fled during the night. Six years later - 1160 - they met again at the Tomb of the Great Ferrus. Fortunately Igelkordok managed to consume a Potion of Glibness in time to explain that he hadn't meant for the dragon to get hurt by all the knights who had later attacked him. He now lives with the newly resurrected Great Ferrus. Or at least should do, if Ferrus survived his encounter with Aragorn.
Aeson DEAD [dragon/mage/monk/ally]
`Father` of Whiteflight, he reincarnated the body of a dead goblin child who had been slaughtered along with his entire village. Feeling pity for the baby he raised him as his own son and taught him skills of magic, music and laughter.
